  • Adam began his career as an experimental musician and graphic designer in New York. He soon sold a show to MTV Animation called "Conspiracy 101" about a cynical teenage girl working unhappily for a psycho-paranoid radio talk show host. This led to more producing and writing, and after a while he sold an adventure movie pitch to Walden Media called "Biblionauts", which he's co-producing with Don Murphy. Meanwhile, Adam started getting a lot of attention making music videos for bands in the electronic and experimental avant-guard of NYC; his video for The No-Neck Blues Band screened in Europe at dozens of festivals. After moving to LA in October '06, he has made a big push to direct as well as write; Fox Atomic hired him to make a series of experimental horror shorts, and Warner Brothers discovered his music video potential.
Francine began her career as a rock photographer in her native Australia. Several years later she segued into producing music videos which soon brought her to the U.S. where she began her career as a director. Francine directed her first short film “Pig!” in 1996, which won a Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival and the Audience Award for Best Short at the Sydney Film Festival. A heap of accolades later, she soon found herself directing commercials, going on to work with many top agencies, including TBWA/Chiat/Day, Leo Burnett, and Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners. She has since directed feature films, TV movies, episodic television, and documentaries for New Line Cinema, NBC, Disney Channel, Bravo, and VH1 to name just a few.

    Ziploc + TLC

TLC came to BARK-BARK for concepts and execution of several spots featuring Ziploc Bags in everyday life.  You gotta be pretty smooth to key a Ziploc… I pat ourselves on the back for that one.

    Mattel + Nick

Nickelodeon needed a sweeps spot for their client Hasbro and the launch of Island Princess Barbie product. We shot greenscreen on our stage to deliver the “stepped-effect” they were looking for. Thanks to some 3D and 2D composite, and lots and lots and lots of sparkles, we delivered the kind of beach vacation only Barbie could imagine.

    G4 Multiplex

After working with them through an agency, our good friends at G4 asked us directly to take a stab at generating buzz around their multi-platform identity launch… Multiplex. Our pitch was that G4 allowed it’s consumers to connect with their devices in a richer, more immediate way because of what G4 offered anytime/anywhere. Through an intensively technical shoot and post, we delivered a seamless message that G4’s multiplex can truly “transform” your everyday life. PS- this was before the Transformers movie came out.

    Habitat for Humanity

We like to help people, so we reached out to our friends at Habitat for Humanity to create a targeted, revenue-generating spot for them. We thought that there was a key piece of valuable information to communicate to their potential middle-income donors– give to habitat and you make your home, your neighborhood and your city a better economic opportunity. The spot has been a wild success, and we feel really proud that we got a chance to do our jobs, and help lots of people. If you have some extra dollars, why not donate to Habitat right now?  You’d feel good too.

    Sprout Sounds 1

PBS Kid’s Sprout had a great idea to really connect preschoolers to their own environment as they learn time-of-day. Marc directed these beautiful close-ups of all the parts of a preschool house that make the noises that set time-of-day.
